Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This policy applies to browsing and interactions on iossr.com and explains how this website handles data. It does not replace the privacy information provided within the Shadowrocket app or Apple’s privacy terms for its services.
1. Scope and Information We Handle
This site provides static pages for verifying the official app, explaining purchases, and offering setup guides. It has no registration, login, or email newsletter forms, and does not ask visitors to submit their name, phone number, email address, or payment details. You can read the manual without providing your Apple Account information.
The guides assume you already have your own subscription or server details. This site does not provide proxy servers or collect or store subscription URLs, server passwords, configuration files, or QR codes. A one-time app purchase is not a service plan; check the app purchase terms and the terms for any service you already use separately.
2. Site Data and Analytics
When you visit a page, the site’s hosting infrastructure may log the request time, page path, response status, IP address, and device and browser information sent by your browser. These technical logs help deliver pages, detect unusual requests, and troubleshoot site issues. They are not information that visitors actively submit.
We use site analytics to understand page views, referral sources, and commonly used devices. We also record clicks on links to destinations such as the App Store product page to check that navigation works and improve content and the mobile reading experience. A click only indicates that a link was opened; it does not mean a purchase was completed.
Analytics primarily use aggregated page and event data. Do not include subscription credentials, account details, or other sensitive information in site URLs or query parameters, as they may be included in request logs. This website does not read Shadowrocket connection logs, Data contents, or configuration files.
3. Cookies and Browser Storage
Your browser may cache this site’s fonts, images, stylesheets, and scripts to avoid repeat requests. Analytics tools may also use cookies or similar identifiers to recognize browsing sessions. Whether these are actually stored, and for how long, depends on the site configuration and your browser’s privacy settings.
This site does not use local storage to save subscription or server credentials. You can review, restrict, or clear this site’s cookies, cache, and local storage in your browser’s site data settings. After you clear the cache, resources may need to load again. Restricting analytics-related storage may affect the completeness of visit counts.
These actions do not delete configurations saved in Shadowrocket or change purchase records associated with your Apple Account. Browser storage, app data, and store account information are handled separately.
4. App Store Links and Purchase Information
The only way to get Shadowrocket is through the App Store product page. Apple operates that page and its purchase, payment, and restore-purchase processes. Apple’s Privacy Policy and applicable terms govern how related information is handled.
When you open the external product page, your browser or the App Store sends a request to Apple. This site does not receive payment card details, account passwords, order details, or proof of payment, and click analytics cannot be used to look up an individual purchase. Prices, system requirements, and purchase eligibility are as listed on the App Store page.
Data logged by this site is used only to provide, maintain, and analyze website access. Necessary infrastructure processing does not mean that you have submitted app configuration details to this site. Requests involving Apple Account or transaction information should be handled through Apple’s account and store features.
5. Policy Updates and Questions
If site features, analytics methods, or the scope of data handling change, we will revise this policy and update the last-updated month at the top of this page. Please refer to the version published here on future visits. If a new data practice requires separate notice or consent, we will explain it before enabling the relevant feature.
For help with site navigation or app configuration, see the relevant sections in the User Guide and Manual. When describing an issue, remove subscription URLs, passwords, account details, and payment information. You do not need to disclose these details to read or understand the guides on this site.
